Valve Adjustment on OBD-I Prelude

The following process will cover the DOHC engine of the OBD-I Honda Prelude (93-95)
1 – With the engine cold, remove the upper timing belt cover, the valve cover, spark plugs and the distributor cap.
Both exhaust and intake valves are adjusted at the same time.
2 – Rotate the crankshaft until piston number one is on TDC compression stroke. To verify the position, the “UP” marks on both camshaft pulleys should be at the top, as in the illustration below, and the TDC grooves on these same pulleys, should align with the cylinder head surface.
