PROGRAMMING

 

We will program your car’s VIN, but the ECM will also need your keys programmed into it. Otherwise, the car will not start. You may either: (1) bring your car with the ECM to a locksmith, or (2) follow an easy and simple process described in this link for adapting the immobilizer system of the ECM to the immobilizer system of your car.

The transmission adaptive system memory was also reset, so it starts relearning from zero when the ECM is installed, ensuring smooth shifting in the automatic transmission.
