Of course, this is a maximum. It may, and usually does, take less than this time.

IMPORTANT:
- Always make sure your vehicle’s engine air filter is clean, as a dirty or clogged filter can cause similar problems.
- Clean the throttle and clean or replace the spark plugs after replacing a bad flowmeter to prevent a temporary malfunction of the replacement part.
- You may need to reset your car with a scanner to erase the old trouble codes and check whether any codes persist.
- Do not use octane booster products. These products may harm sensitive electronic fuel injection system sensors and parts.

Symptoms
If your vehicle’s flowmeter is failing, it may show different symptoms across models, but they’re all related. For example, the most common are:
-Noticeably lower fuel economy
-Black smoke or raw fuel smell from the exhaust
-The engine does not start or is hard to start
-If the engine starts, it has a very rough idle
-Engine stalls or hesitates
-Uniform soot/carbon dry stain on all spark plugs
-A check engine code will be shown
The flowmeter measures the incoming air to the engine, so the ECM (Engine Control Module) can adjust the amount of fuel injected and maintain the ideal fuel/air mixture.
Are Flowmeters, MAF, and Mass Air Flow Sensors the same?
Yes, they generally refer to the same part. This is used in car engines to measure the amount of air entering the engine. The difference is that earlier designs measured incoming air by volume, while newer ones measure it by mass, which is more accurate for the ECM to determine how much air enters the engine at any moment.
This is a refurbished product. It has been put back to factory functioning conditions and has been tested and made sure that it works as new. In addition, a reasonable warranty has been included for the peace of mind of our customers.
