SHIPPING PRODUCTS vs SHIPPING SERVICES

Product:

The free shipping, or the shipping charge included in the cart when you order a PRODUCT, is to cover the shipment of such product to your location.

Service:

The free shipping, or the shipping charge included in the cart when you order a SERVICE, is to cover the shipment to send your item back to you when the service is completed. That does not include the shipping of the unit to our location.

RATES

You can calculate the exact shipping rates available for your location with the provided shipping calculator, shown when you add a product or service to your cart.

It is important that the State, City, and Postal Code are entered to get accurate rates from the shipping calculator. Rate calculations will often be way off the actual rate if the needed information is not entered or is not accurate.

We DO NOT profit from shipping. Any rate shown by the provided calculator is passed to you directly from USPS and FedEx via our connection with both companies.

SHIPPING TO THE USA

There is a FREE shipping option (via USPS Priority Mail) for locations in the USA and USA Territories. This covers the USA's 48 contiguous States, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, Alaska, the US Virgin Islands, Guam, and American Samoa.

Delivery time for the offered free shipping option to mainland USA locations will be 3 to 5 business days. On the other hand, the faster (paid) USPS and FedEx options for mainland USA locations will deliver the next business if FedEx Priority is used, or 1-2 business days if USPS Express and FedEx Economy are used.

PO Boxes (Post Office boxes) and APO Boxes (Army Post Office boxes) addresses are accepted, but can only be shipped via the USPS shipping services. FedEx will not accept those.

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT PORCH PIRACY:

When we ship your package, shipping via the USPS is a secure and fast way to get your package. A $100 insurance is automatically included in all packages shipped to our customers in the USA. This insurance covers if the package is damaged or lost during shipping.

If you require extra insurance, please let us know, so we can add to your invoice the cost of insurance for the value of the item. However, this insurance will NOT cover cases of porch piracy. If you live in an area where porch piracy is of a high incidence, or if there are common issues with mail, like the postman dropping the package at the wrong address, then please let us know if you require a signature service for your shipping.

Signing for the package is the only way to prevent porch piracy or having the package delivered to the wrong address.

INTERNATIONAL LOCATIONS (OUTSIDE THE USA AND ITS TERRITORIES)

Products and services shipped to international locations will be shipped via FedEx, and some, where available, can be shipped via USPS too. This is on a case-by-case basis, and when available, it will be shown in the shipping calculator.

IMPORTS TO THE USA

The new USA tariffs system is being adapted only for the services for international locations, where you need to send your unit here to be repaired or programmed, and that will count as an import to the USA. In these cases, you will see a tariff block added to the end of the shipping calculator, consisting of three parts: the tariff itself (L2), a fixed regulatory charge (L1), and a Duty Tax Processing charge (L3). These are the import tariffs and fees charged by FedEx, DHL, or any other company that you may use to ship your unit here. No markups or extra charges are added to those amounts.
