This is a high performance Chip for either Manual or Automatic transmission cars (Non-Turbo). It will fit 1993 through early 1995 models. Included with this chip, is an extra socket (in case you need it) and detailed installation instructions.

Q. What are these chips and what they do?

A. These chips are memory devices called EPROM. They contain and hold the program that will be run in your car's computer. These chips, are modified on their program code so the engine can deliver more horsepower and torque than it currently would with the factory program.

Q. Are these chips vehicle or application specific?

A. Yes. They will only work with the models or applications listed here. Using otherwise, either won't work or might be unsafe.

Q. How can I identify my computer?

A. To identify your computer (ecu), you must look at the computer's top cover label. The number should be similar to the following format:

0 261 200 413

Because of the last three numbers, it is called the "413" ecu. To help locating your computer, please refer to the above illustration. It is located bellow the passenger side wiper assembly, on the engine bay (under the hood).

Warranty

All chips are guaranteed for one full year after transaction completion. Warranty will be voided if the item is damaged because of mishandling or any other external cause, like static electricity, wrong installation, been used in the incorrect application or ecu, been soldered directly and damaged by overheating or been used in any other way than intended.

Q. What other modifications are supported by this chip?

A. Any intake or exhaust modification will be wonderful using this chip. Modifications not recommended are fuel delivery modifications that either inject more or inject less fuel. Examples are; bigger or extra injectors, higher fuel rail pressure, turbo and nitro. On the other hand, thermal systems that does not inject or alter the air/fuel mixture (AFR), are welcome. An example of this is Cry02.

Q. How can I identify my computer?

A. To identify your computer (ecu), you must look at the computer's top cover label. The number should be similar to the following format:

Lost your keys? Your ecu was replaced by a used one? Your car either cranks ok, but won't start or it starts but die in the next second and a half?

That is caused by the factory equipped immobilizer!

We can professionally reset (reprogram) your 2005-2007 Toyota Corolla immobilizer ecu even if there are no keys available. If your original ecu is damaged and replaced by a second hand ecu, you will need to reset it so it accepts the key(s) you already have. You won't have to pay big $$$ to the dealer for a new ecu or reprogramming and synchronizing your ecu to your current keys.

This service applies to all the 2005 - 2007 Corolla ecus with numbers "89661-02###". Examples are, but not limited to:

Toyota computers will not allow bypassing the immobilizer, but will allow resetting it.

We do the reset service by reprogramming the ecu so it accepts the keys you already have. It will NOT need the master or original keys any more.

The reset is done with a special equipment without resoldering or replacing any part. It is performed with a special contact clip, over the security chip on the ecu circuit board, connected to the PC through an interface. Once the reset is done, the car will store your existing key code in memory, by placing it the first time in the key lock cylinder and turning it to "Ignition ON" position for 10 seconds.

The turnaround time of the service is only one day, except weekends and Holidays. As soon as we receive the ecu, it is reprogrammed the same day, and also the same day it is shipped back reprogrammed and with instructions of a simple procedure to add more keys if you need to add more keys. This procedure is done by a series of pressing / depressing the accelerator and brake pedals. No tools or extra parts are needed.

This service won't disable the car's security. It will just "accommodate" it to your keys.

NOTE: CEL light ("Check Engine Light") will be lit due to the fact that the reset process removes the VIN number from the ecu programming. This is easily corrected at Toyota dealers (free service) with a special scanning equipment, but If you choose not to do it or leave it for later, there will be no malfunction at all and ALL systems will be 100% working.

Q. What is the immobilizer (also misspelled "immobiliser, imobiliser or imobilizer")?

A. The immobilizer is a theft deterrent system, incorporated in most modern cars. It includes a transponder key (your car key), a transponder (in the key lock) and a processing circuit.

The transponder key has an unique code that will be transmitted to the key lock transponder and then be processed by its circuit to match an also unique code, written in the ecu (car computer).

Q. What is a transponder key?

A. It is a car key that has an electronic chip inside and is electromagnetically powered by the "antenna" inside the key lock cylinder, which will also serve for communication between both key and transponder for code interchange.

Q. Where is my computer or ecu located?

A. The ecu in these Toyota models, is located behind the glove compartment. It is a small metallic box, with numbers in the following format; "89661-02xxx". Examples are: "89661-02K20". "89661-02K21", "89661-02D02", "89661-02C12", and many others from 2005 through 2007 models.

Q. What is exactly done to my computer?

A. We do not add or remove anything from your computer, neither soldering is done or required. We use special connectors and special contact instruments to read/write the codes to your ecu.

Q. Will this void any of my vehicle warranties?
